Assigning colors to events

To make events easier for users to assess and respond to in Operation desktop, you can assign event colors in Security Center SaaS.

What you should know

Event colors are used as visual cues in Operation desktop. When a system event is generated, the event color is indicated in the event list and in the canvas tile.

If you have a large system, this helps you focus on events that are more important. For example, you can use red to indicate a critical event (someone attempting to use a stolen credential) and blue to indicate a less critical event (access being granted).

1. Open the System task, click the General settings view, and go to the Events page.
2. Next to an event in the Event colors tab, select a color from the Color list.
3. Click Apply.
