Execute response as
This parameter is automatically set to the user who created the automation and doesn't affect the evaluation of the trigger.
Activation constraints
This group of parameters further limits when the automation can be triggered. The automation must be activated for them to apply.
Not before
Enable this option if you do not wish to trigger this automation before a specified date and time.
Not after
Enable this option if you do not wish to trigger this automation after a specified date and time.
Schedules
Add here the schedules that define the periods when this automation can be triggered. For example, you can define a weekly schedule that covers Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
Exception schedules
Add here the schedules that define the periods when this automation cannot be triggered. For example, you can define a yearly schedule that includes all the public holidays.
Reactivation threshold
Enable this option to wait a certain time before running this automation again.

You have two options:

For entire automation
Apply this constraint regardless of which entity triggers the automation.
Per source entity
Apply this constraint only if the triggering entity is the same as last time.

For manual and scheduled automations, the source entity is the user (or service user) who ran the automation.

Ignore events older than
Enable this option to ignore events that are older than a specified amount of time. Using this option, you can avoid wasting processing resources on outdated events that are no longer relevant.

Current limitations

  • The Use source time zone option is not yet supported for automations. This option is currently only available to event-to-actions.
  • Activity trails are unavailable.
  • Execute response as is restricted to the user who created the automation.
