Adding audio files

You can add new audio files that can be played when users receive an alarm in Security Center SaaS, or used with the Play a sound action.

What you should know

As a best practice, do not add audio files that are larger than 100 KB.

1. In Genetec™ Configuration, click System > General settings , and click Audio.
2. Click Add an item ().
3. Navigate to the audio file and click Open.
4. (Optional) To change the name of the audio file, click Edit the item.
5. (Optional) To listen to the audio file, click Play ().
6. Click Apply.
