Voice and video calling process overview

Use voice and video calling in Security Center SaaS to place, answer, and manage calls between users and intercom devices.

Note:
To enable voice and video calls between users, your system must have at least one intercom device.
Task More information
Configure your peripheral devices. In Settings > Peripherals , select the speaker, microphone, and camera for incoming and outgoing calls.
Open the voice and video calling panel. Click the call () icon in the notification tray.
Make calls to a user or an intercom device. Click the Address book () icon, then click the Call () icon next to the user or intercom you want to contact.
Receive calls from a user or intercom. When you respond to an incoming call, the side panel opens.
For calls from an intercom:
  • Click () to display the video from the device in a large tile.
  • Close the side panel to display the call in a pop-up window.
View call history. Click the History () icon to view your call history.
View the video feed from an intercom's camera. In the Tiles task, drag the camera from the intercom device to a tile.
