Exporting video

To play video files outside of Security Center SaaS, export the video from a tile to your local hard drive.

1. Open the Tiles task in the navigation menu.
2. Click Browse () to display your entities.
3. Double-click or drag the camera entity or layout onto a tile.
4. Hover over the tile to see the camera controls.

   

5. Click Show more () > Export ().

   

6. In the Export video dialog box, configure the following parameters:

   File name

   Enter a name for the video file.

   Description

   Enter a description of the video you're exporting.

   Start time

   Select the start date and time of the video that you're exporting.

   End time

   Select the end date and time of the video that you're exporting.

   Format

   Select the video format for your exported video file.

   Export audio

   Select this option to include audio in the video file that you're exporting.

7. Click Export.
   The number of video files being exported is displayed next to the Export status () icon.
8. Click the Export status () icon to view the status of the export.
9. When the export status is Ready to download, click .

   

   The video file is saved to the location defined in your web browser settings. The default location is C:\Users\<username>\Downloads.
