Configuring user access to archived video

To restrict a user's access to archived video beyond a specific time period, you can configure the limit archive viewing setting in Genetec™ Configuration desktop.

Procedure

From the homepage in Genetec Configuration desktop, click User management > Advanced .
From the entity browser, select a user or group to configure.
Click the Advanced tab.
In the Security section, set the Limit archive viewing option to Override.
Turn on the Limit archive viewing option.
Enter the time period for which the user can access video archives.
Click Apply.
