Forcing a synchronization in Okta

To synchronize your most recent user or group updates from Okta to Security Center SaaS immediately, your Okta administrator can either push group changes or force a synchronization of all attributes.

1. Synchronize group changes.
   1. On the Okta Applications page, select the application that was created during the setup call with Genetec and click the Push Groups tab.
   2. In the Pushed Groups section, click All.
   3. Select a group, and in the Push status column, click Active, then click Push now.

      

      Tip:

      Watch the Push Status column to determine the current state of the group synchronization.
2. Force a synchronization of all attributes.
   1. On the Okta Applications page, click the Provisioning tab.
   2. In the Settings section, click Integration.
   3. In the Attribute Mappings section, click Force Sync.

      

      Note:

      There is no provisioning interval between Okta synchronizations. Updates are pushed as soon as possible.
