About tasks in Security Center SaaS

In Security Center SaaS, operators can efficiently control and monitor multiple security and public safety applications.

Security Center SaaS includes the following tasks:
  • Tiles task to view live and playback video, perform an intelligent search, and perform other video management and access control tasks.
  • Maps task to monitor entities, interact with their associated video and events, and command functions on a map.
  • Access control task to create and manage cardholders, visitors, credentials, cardholder groups, and access rules.
  • Investigation task to quickly search using natural language and filters to find specific events of interest.
  • Front desk task to help Front desk operators set their work location, view event schedules, review a visitor list, review visitor status, check-in planned or unplanned visitors, and perform security screening.
  • Reports task to search for and view events.
    • Alarms report to search for alarms generated on your system.
    • Bookmarks report to search for bookmarked video.
    • Camera events report to search for camera-related events generated on your system.
    • Door activity report to search for access control events, such as access denied events and door status.
    • Forensic report to search for video of people or vehicles within a specific time frame.
    • Anything report to simultaneously search all report categories, except Forensic search.
Users can access tasks from the navigation menu () in the upper left corner.
Other functions are also available as follows:
  • Active alarms () to trigger and acknowledge alarms.
  • Watchlist () to monitor events from specific entities.
  • Threat levels () to enable a response to dangerous situations, such as a fire or a shooting, while you are monitoring your system. You can respond by changing the state of the entire Security Center SaaS system or specific areas.
  • Sipelia () for voice and video calling.
Users can access these functions from the notification tray in the upper right corner.
