Creating schedules

To define a set of time constraints for a multitude of situations, such as when a user can log on to the system or when video from a surveillance camera can be recorded, you can create schedules and then apply them to specific entities.

1. In Genetec™ Configuration, click System > Schedules .
2. Click Schedule (), enter the basic information, and click Create.
3. Click the Properties tab.
4. From the Date coverage list, select how you want the schedule to repeat.
5. Configure the time coverage for the schedule.
6. (Optional) To define time coverage for a twilight schedule, from the Time coverage drop-down list, select Daytime or Nighttime.
   The maximum offset from sunrise or sunset is 2 hours.
7. Click Apply.
