Map search considerations

When you search a map for objects, addresses, or coordinates, keep the following in mind:
  • Searches in Genetec™ Operation list map objects and display them on any maps they are part of when selected.
  • Searches in Genetec™ Configuration only list map objects found on the selected map.
  • Coordinates and addresses can be used as search terms only on geographic and georeferenced maps.
  • Address searches must include the full street name with its suffix, or you can search by ZIP or postal code.
