To manage camera-specific settings and disassociate specific cameras from recording
profiles, you can configure custom settings for a camera.
What you should know
Custom settings are typically used when specific camera settings are needed that aren’t
available when using recording profiles associated with multiple camera deployments.
Performing this procedure activates a custom settings configuration and ensures that the
camera is no longer associated with a recording profile.
Procedure
From the Devices page in Genetec™ Configuration web, select a
camera.
Click the Settings tab in the side pane.
In the Video section, from the Recording
profile list, select Custom.
Note:
Cameras configured using the Custom settings option aren’t
displayed in the Recording profiles list because the custom
settings only apply to the selected camera.
In the Video section, customize the settings as
required.
Resolution
Select the resolution you need.
Frame rate
