Configuring camera-specific settings

To use camera options that recording profiles for multi-camera deployments do not offer, you can configure custom settings for individual cameras.

What you should know

Using custom settings on a camera disassociates it from a recording profile.
To configure camera settings that aren’t available in Security Center SaaS, sign in to the camera's web page.

Procedure

From the Devices page of the Configuration task, select a camera.
Click the Settings tab in the side pane.
In the Video section, from the Recording profile list, select Custom.

Note:
Cameras configured using the Custom settings option aren’t displayed in the Recording profiles list because the custom settings only apply to the selected camera.
Customize the video settings as required.
Click Save.
