About read-only cameras
In Security Center SaaS, a read-only camera is a device already managed by another video management system (VMS) and added to a Cloudlink appliance. You can record and monitor video streams from the read-only camera, but you cannot change the camera configuration settings.

About read-only cameras

In Security Center SaaS, a read-only camera is a device already managed by another video management system (VMS) and added to a Cloudlink appliance. You can record and monitor video streams from the read-only camera, but you cannot change the camera configuration settings.

When you add a read-only camera to Security Center SaaS:

You can view live and recorded H.264 video.
You can't change camera settings because they're managed by an external VMS.
Camera settings are displayed as "Not supported" in the camera side pane, indicating that they cannot be changed in Security Center SaaS.
You can still configure the recording profile and activate camera analytics events.

This feature is only available when manually adding cameras to Cloudlink appliance.
