Setting a default map for users

To display a specific map when a user opens the Maps task in Genetec™ Operation, you can set a default map in Genetec™ Configuration desktop.

Procedure

  1. From the homepage in Genetec™ Configuration desktop, click User management > Advanced .
  2. From the entity browser, select a user or group.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Set the Default map option to Override.
  5. From the Default map list, select the map.
  6. Click Apply.
