Integrating your corporate identity provider with Security Center SaaS
To integrate your corporate identity provider with Security Center SaaS for single sign-on (SSO), you must contact the Genetec™ Technical Assistance Center (GTAC). Genetec will then set up a call with you and your identity provider administrator to complete the integration.

  - About users
    Users represent individuals with access to the Security Center SaaS system. System administrators create user entities and configure their rights and privileges in Genetec™ Configuration.

    Before you can manage devices and users in Genetec™ Configuration, you must first add users in Security Center SaaS. Different roles can also be added to the users to grant different system privileges.

    A group is an entity that defines a group of users who share common properties and privileges.

      Third-party authentication uses a trusted, external identity provider to validate user credentials before granting access to one or more IT systems. The authentication process returns identifying information, such as a username, that is used to authorize or deny the requested access.

      - Integrating OpenID Connect with Security Center SaaS for SSO
        To integrate your corporate identity provider with Security Center SaaS for single sign-on, you must first prepare some information about your organization's OpenID Connect (OIDC) setup. Then contact the Genetec™ Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) to set up a call with you and your identity provider administrator to complete the integration.
      - Transferring existing users to your new corporate SSO login service
        After setting up your corporate identity provider, existing users must complete a one-time transfer to the new login service.
    - Setting up automatic user provisioning
      To have your Microsoft Entra ID automatically provision your users to Security Center SaaS, you must prepare some information about your organizations Microsoft Entra ID setup and initiate a call with Genetec™ Technical Support.

To integrate your corporate identity provider with Security Center SaaS for single sign-on (SSO), you must contact the Genetec™ Technical Assistance Center (GTAC). Genetec will then set up a call with you and your identity provider administrator to complete the integration.

What you should know

Security Center SaaS supports third-party authentication using Microsoft Entra ID or other identity providers.

Note:

The SSO feature is only available in the Security Center SaaS Premium Plan.

Procedure

For integration assistance, contact Genetec Technical Assistance Center (GTAC).
Integrate the corporate identity provider that is appropriate for your requirements:
- Integrate Microsoft Entra ID with Security Center SaaS for SSO.
- Integrate OpenID Connect with Security Center SaaS for SSO.
