Adding Hanwha direct-to-cloud cameras

To use your Hanwha direct-to-cloud (D2C) camera for video monitoring and recording in Security Center SaaS, you must add it to your system.

1. Using a web browser, connect to the camera and sign in.
2. Click the Setup () icon at the top of the camera screen.
3. Configure your camera's IP address:
   1. From the navigation bar on the left, click Basic > IP & Port .
   2. In the IP address section, choose how to set your DNS servers:
      • Enable DNS setting by DHCP.
      • Specify DNS servers manually.
   3. Click Apply.
4. Ensure the camera's date and time are synchronized with your system or an NTP server.
5. Download and install the Genetec Security Center SaaS Connector application:
   1. In the navigation bar, click Open platform > Open platform .
   2. Click (…), select the Genetec Security Center SaaS Connector application, then click Install.
   3. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.
6. Once the application is installed, click Go App.
   A new window opens and displays the following message: Waiting to be added in Genetec Security Center SaaS. It may take a few minutes for the message to appear.
7. Copy the camera Serial number and User Secret.
   Note:

   The User Secret is called the Secret key in Security Center SaaS.
8. In the Security Center SaaS Configuration task, from the Devices page, click Add device and follow the steps in the configuration wizard.
