Exporting or printing maps

To share map information outside Security Center SaaS, you can export the current map view as a PNG, save it as a PDF, or print a physical copy.
What you should know
- The output depends on the current map, displayed area, and zoom level.
- Use map layers to show or hide the entities you want to include.
- PDF output uses the Microsoft® Print to PDF printer.
Procedure
- In Genetec™ Configuration, open the Map designer task.
- Select a recent map or click Browse all maps to open an existing map.
- Navigate to the area that you want to export or print.
- (Optional) Select or deselect any map layers to show or hide various map objects.

Export or print the current map view:
- To export as a PNG, click or press Ctrl+E.
- To print or generate a PDF:
- Click or press Ctrl+P.
- Select your printer or the Microsoft print to PDF printer.
