Adding cardholder groups

To configure the access rights and properties that are shared among multiple cardholders, you can create cardholder groups in the Access control task.
Procedure
- From the navigation menu, click Access control.
- Click the Groups tab, and then click Add group.
- Enter a name and email address for the group.

To enable visitors to be added to the group, select the Available for
visitors option.

In the Access rights section, add members and access rules to the
group.

Click Advanced and configure the advanced settings for the
group.
- Description
- Enter a description for the cardholder.
- Bypass antipassback rules
- Select Inherited to inherit the antipassback restrictions from the cardholder group that the cardholder belongs to. To exempt the cardholder from antipassback restrictions, select Yes.
- Security clearance
- Select Inherited to inherit the security clearance from the cardholder group that the cardholder belongs to, or Custom to enter the cardholder's security clearance level. The security clearance level determines their access to areas when a threat level is set. Level 0 is the highest clearance level, with the most privileges.
- Partitions
- Add or remove cardholders from partitions.Note:Cardholders must belong to at least one partition.
