Configuring events that need to occur in sequence

To trigger an automation by a sequence of events, link multiple trigger groups in the configuration using the Followed by operator.

1. Under the first trigger group, click Followed by ().
   A second trigger group is created.
2. Configure the second trigger group in the same way as the first.
   To specify that the source of an event matches the source of the first event, set its source to Same as first.
3. Specify the timeframe during which any or all events defined in the second trigger group must occur.
   Note:

   The second trigger group is evaluated only after the conditions of the first trigger group are met.
4. (Optional) To configure additional trigger groups, repeat steps 1-3.
5. Click Apply.
