Security Center SaaS uses a hybrid-cloud security architecture that includes cloud, on-premises, and edge components.

About WebRTC connections

Using WebRTC, Security Center SaaS web applications can stream video directly from Genetec Cloudlink™ appliances and supported direct-to-cloud cameras. This requires certain network conditions:

A WebRTC stream must be available from the appliance or camera.
The applications, appliances, and cameras must be on the same network or connect through a TURN server that is allowlisted on both networks.
Port requirements must be met. For information, see the port requirements for direct-to-cloud cameras and appliances in Security Center SaaS.

If the WebRTC stream can’t be established, the applications use the default stream provided by Security Center SaaS.
