Investigating intrusion detection unit events

To investigate events related to intrusion detection units (such as AC fail, Unit lost, or Intrusion detection unit input trouble), you can use the Intrusion detection unit events task in Genetec™ Operation desktop.

1. From the homepage in Genetec Operation desktop, open the Intrusion detection unit events task.
2. Select the specific intrusion detection units you want to investigate, and configure the remaining query filters:

   Event timestamp

   Define the time range for the query. You can define the time range for a specific period or a relative period, such as the previous week or the previous month.

   Events

   Select the events of interest. The available event types depend on the task you are using.

3. Click Generate report.
