Modifying intrusion areas, inputs, and outputs

To modify intrusion detection areas, inputs, or outputs, you change their settings in Genetec™ Configuration desktop.

What you should know

For Honeywell Galaxy panels, modify the names of intrusion areas, inputs, and outputs on the Properties page of the entity. For other modifications, make the change in the Galaxy RSS application, then re-import the configuration file into Security Center SaaS.

1. In Genetec™ Configuration desktop, open the Intrusion detection task.
2. In the entity browser, expand the Intrusion role and click an intrusion panel.
3. To modify an intrusion detection area:
   1. Click the Intrusion detection areas tab.
   2. Click beside the area that you want to edit, and make the necessary changes.
   3. Click Save.
4. To modify an input:
   1. Click the Intrusion inputs tab.
   2. Click beside the input that you want to edit, and make the necessary changes.
   3. Click Save.
5. To modify an output:
   1. Click the Intrusion outputs tab.
   2. Click beside the output that you want to edit, and make the necessary changes.
   3. Click Save.
6. Click Apply.
