Modifying intrusion detection areas

To rename intrusion detection areas and adjust the outputs that trigger alarms within them, you can modify the settings of the corresponding intrusion area.

1. In Genetec™ Configuration desktop, open the Intrusion detection task.
2. In the entity browser, expand the Intrusion Manager and click an intrusion panel.

   

3. Click the Intrusion detection areas tab.
4. Click beside the area that you want to edit.
   
5. In the Edit area dialog box, do the following:
   1. Enter a name in the Name field.
   2. Select an output from the Output to trigger alarm list.
   3. Click Save.
   
6. Click Apply.
