Preparing an existing Synergis Cloud Link appliance for Security Center SaaS enrollment

To enroll a Synergis™ Cloud Link appliance that was previously connected to an on-premises or hosted Classic system, you must enable cloud communication in the Synergis Appliance Portal.

Before you begin

Upgrade your unit to Synergis Cloud Link 3.1.1 or later.

Procedure

Log in to the Synergis™ Appliance Portal.
Enable the cloud communication option based on your Synergis Cloud Link version:
- For versions earlier than 3.3.0, click Configuration > Unit-wide parameters, and then select the Communicate with the cloud for enrollment option.
- For version 3.3.0 and later, click Configuration > Cloud connectivity. In the Security Center SaaS enrollment section, select the Communicate with the cloud for enrollment option.
