2026-07-28Last updated

To configure a manual trigger for an output on a Bosch intrusion panel, you must create a virtual output by setting the source of a point to Output in Bosch Remote Programming Software (RPS).

Before you begin

Configure your point and area profiles in Bosch RPS. For more information, see your Bosch documentation.

What you should know

Bosch RPS refers to inputs as points.

Procedure

  1. Open Bosch RPS and select an intrusion panel.
  2. Configure a point as an output:
    1. Click POINTS > Point Assignments .
    2. Select a point with an unassigned source.
    3. Click the Source cell of the point, select Output, then click OK.
    4. Click the Profile cell of the point, select a point profile, then click OK.
    5. Click the Area cell of the point, select an area profile, then click OK.
The system creates the virtual output.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click the Synchronization () button.
  • Bosch RPS pushed the point to the intrusion panel.
  • An input and output are added to Security Center SaaS to represent the point.

After you finish

In Security Center SaaS, map the input and output that represent the point in Bosch RPS.
