Assigning cameras to intrusion detection areas

To retrieve video footage related to intrusion events, you must assign cameras to intrusion detection areas.

Before you begin

Create an intrusion area.

Procedure

In Genetec™ Configuration, open the Area view task.
Select the intrusion detection area to configure, and then click the Cameras tab.
Click Add an item ().
Select a camera, and then click OK.
Click Apply.

Operators can view video footage from the camera associated with the intrusion detection area.
