Creating intrusion areas manually
If the intrusion detection areas weren’t automatically created after the intrusion detection unit was enrolled, you must create them manually to enable arming, disarming, and other actions.

If the intrusion detection areas weren’t automatically created after the intrusion detection unit was enrolled, you must create them manually to enable arming, disarming, and other actions.

Before you begin

Add an intrusion panel to Security Center SaaS.

What you should know

Security Center SaaS does not support manual creation of intrusion areas for Honeywell Galaxy panels. Create the area in Galaxy RSS, then reimport the configuration file into Security Center SaaS.

Procedure

In Genetec™ Configuration, open the Intrusion detection task.
Click Add an entity (), and select Intrusion detection area.
Follow the steps in the configuration wizard.

The intrusion area is created and can be managed from the Intrusion detection task.
