Synchronizing the time on a Bosch intrusion panel with Bosch RPS

2026-10-02Last updated

To ensure that intrusion events are recorded with accurate timestamps, administrators must synchronize the time on intrusion panels with the time set in Bosch RPS.

Before you begin

What you should know

  • Security Center SaaS doesn't support time synchronization between Bosch intrusion panels and the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge.

Procedure

  1. From the Genetec™ Configuration homepage, open the Intrusion detection task.
  2. From the entity browser, select the intrusion panel that you want to synchronize with the Bosch RPS.
  3. Open the Properties page.
  4. Select the Sync unit time setting.
  5. In the Interval in minutes field, enter the frequency at which the panel should synchronize its time with the Bosch RPS.
  6. Click Apply.
The intrusion panel keypad displays the time from the Bosch RPS.

After you finish

Configure the Time zone setting on the Location page of the intrusion panel. This setting defines the time that Security Center SaaS uses to display intrusion events in the Reports, Tiles, and Maps tasks.
