Adding Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panels

2026-01-27Last updated

To monitor, control, and report on a Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panel, you must add it to Security Center SaaS.

Before you begin

What you should know

  • Security Center SaaS uses Genetec Cloudlink™ appliances to connect to intrusion panels. The appliance hosts the Intrusion application, which uses a Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge to establish the connection and relay information between intrusion panels and Security Center SaaS.
    Note:
The Genetec Intrusion Bridge name stays the same if you rename the Cloudlink.
  • For information about the maximum number of panels that you can add to a Genetec Cloudlink appliance, see Genetec Cloudlink appliance capabilities.

Procedure

  1. From the Devices page in the Configuration task, click Add device.
  2. Follow the steps in the configuration wizard.
  3. On the Devices page, select the panel.
    The side pane opens.
  4. Click Configuration.
  5. In the Remote PIN field, enter the panel's remote PIN.
  6. From the DIP switch 8 list, select the setting used by the panel.
  7. Import the panel's configuration file:
    1. Click Select a file.
    2. Select the XML file that was exported from the Flex Series Application and click Open.
    3. Click Save.
    Important:
If changes are made to the panel settings, you must re-import the XML file into Security Center SaaS.
The panel's intrusion areas, inputs, outputs, and users are imported into Security Center SaaS. They can be viewed in the Intrusion task in Genetec™ Configuration desktop.
