Signing in to an Axis Powered by Genetec device

To configure an Axis Powered by Genetec door controller, you need to sign in to the Axis device interface with a web browser.

Before you begin

Add the device in Security Center SaaS.

What you should know

  • The Axis device interface is the administrative web portal for the Axis Powered by Genetec device.
  • You can also sign in to the device directly using a web browser. For more information, see the Axis Powered by Genetec Help.

Procedure

  1. From the Devices page in the Configuration task, click the Axis Powered by Genetec device you want to connect to.
  2. From the Overview page in the side panel, click View credentials.
  3. Copy the Username and password credentials.
  4. Click Open web interface.
    A new browser page opens with a Sign in dialog box.
  5. Paste the Username and Password credentials, and click Sign in.
