Adding Mercury controllers

To enable communication between Security Center SaaS and Mercury controllers, you must add the controllers to a Genetec Cloudlink™ appliance in Genetec™ Configuration desktop.

Before you begin

Add your Genetec Cloudlink appliance to Security Center SaaS.

What you should know

  • Mercury controllers must connect to Cloudlink 210 appliances. This is the only model that supports the access control application on the Cloudlink portal. The application is required to connect Security Center SaaS to the controller.

  • Genetec Configuration web can’t be used to add Mercury controllers to Security Center SaaS.
  • After you add a Mercury controller, you can view and manage it only in Configuration desktop.

Procedure

  1. Prepare your Mercury controllers to be added to a Genetec Cloudlink appliance.
  2. Add the Mercury controllers to a Genetec Cloudlink appliance.
