Adding Security Center SaaS cardholders to an intrusion panel

To grant a cardholder access to an intrusion panel, you can add them to the panel in Genetec™ Configuration desktop.

What you should know

  • Users on an intrusion panel are called cardholders in Security Center SaaS.
  • If you have multiple intrusion panels connected to a Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge, you can push Security Center SaaS cardholders to all of the panels simultaneously.

Procedure

  1. In Genetec™ Configuration desktop, open the Intrusion detection task.
  2. In the entity browser, click the Intrusion role.
  3. Click the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge cardholder selection tab, and select the Genetec Intrusion Bridge associated with the intrusion panel you want to configure.
  4. Click Add an item (), and select the cardholders or cardholder groups you want to add.
    To push all cardholders and cardholder groups to the Genetec Intrusion Bridge, click Import all cardholders.
  5. Click OK, then click Apply.
    The cardholders are added to the Genetec Intrusion Bridge.
  6. In the entity browser, expand the Intrusion Manager role and select an intrusion panel.
  7. Click the Users tab, then click Add user.
  8. For Bosch intrusion panels, configure the following:
    User
    Select a user or a user group from the list.
    User group
    Select a user group from the list.
    Authority levels
    Enter the authority level of the user or user group.
    Supervised
    When this parameter is selected, the control panel creates a missing event when the keyfob is out of range of the RADION receiver for 4 hours.
    Note:
    Inovonics keyfobs are not supervised.
    Is using primary language
    Enter if the user is using the primary language, as programmed in the panel.
    Remote access
    When this parameter is set to Yes, the user can control their security system with their mobile device and the Genetec™ Configuration mobile app.
    Note:
    These settings are related directly to settings on Bosch intrusion panels. For more information, consult your Bosch documentation.
  9. For Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panels, configure the following:
    User
    Select a user or a user group from the list.
    Groups (Areas)
    Enter the group that the user is assigned to.
    Group choice
    When this option is enabled, users must identify which groups they want to control when they enter their code on a panel.
    Level
    Enter the authority level that the user will have on the Honeywell Galaxy panel.
    Duress
    Enable this option to provide the user with a code to enter if they are forced to disarm or operate the system under duress.
    Menu choice
    Enable this option to provide users with options when they navigate the menu on their panel.
    Timer schedule
    Enable this option to allow users to schedule events on the panel.
    Dual
    Enable this option for the user to require two independent confirmations before specific actions are required on the panel.
    Temp code
    Enter temporary code for the user to enter on the panel.
  10. Click Save, then click Apply.
The cardholders are granted access to the intrusion panel. The system automatically applies changes to the cardholders and cardholder groups.
