Removing cardholders temporarily from an intrusion panel

To temporarily remove a cardholder or cardholder group from an intrusion panel, you can exclude them on the panel in Security Center SaaS.

What you should know

You can create a cardholder group whose access to a panel has been temporarily removed, for example, cardholders who are on vacation. Set this cardholder group to be excluded from the panel. When you add a cardholder to the cardholder group in Security Center SaaS, they will be automatically excluded from the panel. They will be reinstated on the panel when they are removed from the group.

Procedure

  1. In Genetec™ Configuration desktop, open the Intrusion detection task.
  2. In the entity browser, expand the intrusion role and click an intrusion panel.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. Click the Exclude () button next to the cardholder that you want to exclude.
    The cardholder is marked as Excluded.
  5. (Optional) To re-instate a cardholder or cardholder group on the panel, click the re-instate button.
