Removing cardholders temporarily from an intrusion panel

You can exclude cardholders or cardholder groups from an intrusion panel in Genetec™ Configuration desktop to temporarily remove their access.

What you should know

Users on an intrusion panel are called cardholders in Security Center SaaS.
Honeywell Galaxy panel users can only be removed through the Honeywell software.
When you add a cardholder to a cardholder group that is excluded from a panel, it revokes their access to the panel. When you remove the cardholder from the group, it automatically reinstates their access.

Procedure

In Genetec™ Configuration desktop, open the Intrusion detection task.
In the entity browser, expand the Intrusion role and select an intrusion panel.
Click the Users tab.
For any cardholder you want to exclude, click Exclude ().
The cardholder status changes to Excluded.
(Optional) To re-instate a cardholder or cardholder group on the panel, click Re-instate ().
