To ensure that intrusion events are recorded with accurate timestamps, administrators must synchronize the time on intrusion panels with the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge that the panel connects to.

Synchronizing the time on a Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panel with a Genetec Intrusion Bridge

To ensure that intrusion events are recorded with accurate timestamps, administrators must synchronize the time on intrusion panels with the Genetec™ Intrusion Bridge that the panel connects to.

Before you begin

Add your Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panel in Security Center SaaS.

Procedure

From the Genetec™ Configuration homepage, open the Intrusion detection task.
From the entity browser, select the intrusion panel that you want to synchronize with the Genetec Intrusion Bridge.
Open the Properties page.
Select the Sync unit time setting.
In the Interval in minutes field, enter how often, in minutes, the intrusion panel synchronizes its time with the Genetec Intrusion Bridge.
Click Apply.

The intrusion panel keypad displays the time from the Genetec Intrusion Bridge.

After you finish

Configure the Time zone setting on the Location page of the intrusion panel. This setting defines the time that Security Center SaaS uses to display intrusion events in the Reports, Tiles, and Maps tasks.
